Well, 2014 is nearly over and done, but the LeBron 12 is only just getting started. With the “Trillion Dollar Man,” the final XII of ’14, poised to hit stores tomorrow, today we look ahead to the second colorway of 2015. (The “23 Chromosomes” being the first by a fortnight, remember.) The Nike LeBron 12 Court Vision release date is set for Saturday, January 31.
The latest colorway that seems tailor-made for LeBron’s Heat uniform of yesteryear, the “Court Vision” sports a white-accented black Megafuse construction, overlaid by black Hyperposite piecing. That Hyperposite is more detailed, even ornate, than the usual ebony finish, however, as a subtle woodgrain print covers the lightweight piecing, evoking the court in question. Add Nike Air Max Thea Damen to that striking red on the accents and laces, and this may be the most clean, classically styled colorway of the LeBron 12 to date.
Dig the legendary Andre Agassi signature line, but have neither the patience nor budget to grab a full-priced pair of Air Tech Challenge IV Lows when the model drops in 2015? Try this on for size: The Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid Denim is now available online in a nearly full size run for $48.99 a pair. Yes, that’s well over half off the MSRP of $130. You can buy it here on FinishLine.com.
As a brief reminder, the shoe mashes up elements of Andre Agassi’s various ATC models, and does so in a perfectly appropriate palette for Agassi and his early-90s dominance: washed denim and magenta Nike Air Max 90 Femme Noir accents. Only the inclusion of a mullet and Brooke Shields could make this shoe more vintage Agassi.
